Programme / Program:
The traditional sounds of the quartet were transformed and diffused electronically giving the impression that another quartet, invisible yet present was accompanying Molinari. There was a sense that a gateway had opened between this dimension we call reality and another.
Anyone listening to this genre of music with an open mind will find himself/herself carried away into an adventure not unlike those experienced when watching or reading fantasy classics such as Never Ending Story, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Chronicles of Narnia and many more. The melding of the traditional sounds from instruments played with electronically generated or altered sounds can and often does reach down into the very soul of the individual. It is in a way a form of auditory astral travel or vivid dreaming.
