A diverse group of seven British senior citizens travel to Jaipur India to stay in (according to the brochure) a newly renovated luxurious hotel that caters to the ‘old and beautiful.’ When they arrive they find that it is really dilapidated. Its new manager, Sunny who took over when his father died, is confident that he could make it work. His most frequent expression is “Things always work out in the end. If they are not working out, then it is not the end.”

An ensemble cast of A-List veteran British actors give stupendous performances as their characters manifest every possible stereotype among the elderly:
Evelyn, recently widowed, whose husband controlled everything and left a huge debt;
Graham, a recently retired high court judge who grew up in India as a boy;
Jean and Doug, a long-time married couple, needing to scale down after investing in an internet start-up project of their daughter; 
Muriel, a housekeeper whose services are no longer needed and now she needs a hip replacement;
Madge, a wealthy widow who is hunting for another husband;
Norman, an aging Lothario still on the make for one-night stands.
Upon their arrival, all seven are overwhelmed in varying degrees by India’s unfamiliar environment but each slowly adapt in their own special way.
A powerful and touching comedy drama that one is never too old to take a chance and drastically change the course of one’s life.

Un groupe diversifié de sept personnes âgées Britanniques voyage à Jaipur Inde pour séjourner en (d'après la brochure) un hôtel de luxe récemment rénové qui accueille à une clientèle «vieille et belle.» Quand ils arrivent, ils trouvent qu'il est vraiment délabré. Son nouveau gérant, Sunny, qui a succédé quand son père est décédé, est convaincu qu'il pourrait le faire fonctionner. Son expression la plus fréquente est « Les choses fonctionnent toujours à la fin. S’ils ne sont pas, alors il n'est pas la fin.»
Un casting d'acteurs Britanniques vétérans du premier rang donne des interprétations stupéfiantes comme leurs personnages manifestent tous les stéréotypes possibles chez les personnes âgées :
Evelyn, récemment devenue veuve, dont l’époux contrôlait tout et a laissé une dette énorme;
Graham, un juge de la Cour Suprême, récemment retraité qui a grandi en Inde comme garçon;
Jean et Doug, un couple marié de longue date, ayant besoin de réduire après avoir investi dans un projet de création d’internet de leur fille;
Muriel, une femme de ménage dont les services ne sont plus nécessaires et maintenant elle a besoin d’une arthroplastie de la hanche;
Madge, une veuve riche, qui chasse pour un autre mari;
Norman, un Lothario vieillissant toujours au poursuit d’une nuit d’aventure.
À leur arrivée, tous les sept sont accablés à des degrés variables par l'environnement peu familier de l'Inde, mais chacun s'adapter lentement à leur propre façon.
Une comédie dramatique puissant et touchante qu'on n'est jamais trop vieux pour prendre une chance et de changer radicalement le cours de notre vie.
