Variety,
Quality and Classy Service
A lovely buffet where a sweet line-up of
girls dish out what you want. Ernestina who manages the buffet (served in the morning
until 1 pm) ensures everyone is happy. There are 7 hot dishes that include
chichoran, pozole, chicken mole, pork ribs in nopales (cactus) one of my
favourite. It was excellent. There are
hot cakes, cereal, yogurt, cottage cheese, hibiscus jam, pineapple jam, and
really sweet French toast drowning in cinnamon.
Tamarind fruit juice and other
fresh drinks are also on tap.
If you want an omelet, one of the gals
cooks makes a grilled type of corn taco (masa de maÍz para hacer sorditas) that
they stuff with anything you wish: ham, cheese, onions mushrooms, salsa verde
or rosa as you wish.
By the way, there is also a menu and for
five years, Maria Inés has been the wonderful cook.
The address is Salida a Celaya #24 in San Miguel de
Allende.
